The Core Advantages of This Hex Scaling Bar
1. High-strength base material, compliant with international standards
This hex bar, manufactured and wholesaled by Tianlong fasterner, is made of AS1444-41 40T grade steel—a stringent Australian industrial material standard designed for mining and heavy-duty industrial scenarios. Its tensile strength is ≥650MPa, and yield strength is ≥400MPa, which is over 30% higher than ordinary Q235 steel (with a tensile strength of 375-500MPa).
This standard certification means the product can directly enter international markets and be supplied without additional testing, reducing significant cost losses in intermediate links of foreign trade.
In addition, its high-tensile synthetic material has a high elongation at break, maintaining structural integrity even under high stress and deformation, with tear resistance far exceeding that of ordinary synthetic materials. It can handle sandstone and granite with hardness ranging from 300-400MPa.
For example, one of our clients is an Australian open-pit mine. In rock surface cleaning operations, they used this hex scaling bar to process high-hardness sandstone, and it showed no obvious deformation after long-term use, proving extremely durable. In contrast, the Q235 steel bars from other brands they previously used would deform after an average of 2 months under the same working conditions.
2. SAR rubber tube + HR/EPDM cover layer, excellent weather resistance
The SAR (styrene-butadiene rubber) tube has excellent oil resistance. Due to the benzene rings in its molecular structure, it is not prone to swelling in oily environments, and its volume remains unchanged after long-term immersion in mineral oil.
The HR/EPDM blend cover layer (high-elastic EPDM rubber) has a temperature resistance range of -40℃ to 120℃. Whether used in high-temperature mines (50-60℃) or cold outdoor environments (-10℃ and below), its aging rate is much slower than that of ordinary rubber.
Furthermore, this hex scaling bar has good ozone and UV resistance, with no surface cracking even after long-term outdoor exposure (under UV intensity of 3.5W/m²).
These performance advantages ensure that the rubber components of the scaling bar are not easily cracked and remain reliable in scenarios such as oil stain cleaning of refinery equipment and winter bridge de-icing. In contrast, the ordinary rubber-covered scaling bars from other brands they previously used required rubber layer replacement every 2 weeks.
3.Hex Scaling Bar:Reinforced structural design
The contact area between the hexagonal cross-section and gloves is significantly larger than that of a round bar, with a notably increased friction coefficient—making it particularly suitable for use in humid or oily environments. The grip friction of this hexagonal bar structure is 20% higher than that of round bars, preventing slippage during operation. Additionally, its high-tensile synthetic reinforcement layer enhances the product’s fatigue resistance.
